Deb is a retired Certified Human Resources Leader with many years
experience in the financial services sector. She has held many senior HR
leadership positions over the span of her career. Her primary expertise is in
helping organizations and teams position themselves for the future through
focussing on the development of effective business and HR strategies,
policies and programs.
Deb has also worked as a volunteer with the Canadian Breast Cancer
Foundation, Run for the Cure, the Greater Toronto United Way and
provided direct counselling services to teenagers in several after-school
projects.
She has previous Board experience with other registered charities and is
currently serving as Chair for Westview Centre 4 Women in St. Catharines,
Ontario.
Deb holds a B.A. from York University, a B.ED. from University of Toronto,
and several certifications in financial and human resources tools. She
currently resides in Niagara-on-the-Lake with her wife Suzanne, and their
two very spoiled Rhodesian Ridgebacks.
