Jane has 30 plus years experience in helping the marginalized with issues of homelessness, low income, addiction, mental health and those struggling in the sex trade. The majority of her experience has focussed on women and children in the Niagara Region.

Another key aspect of Jane’s life is her work as a minister in the community. She provides various pastoral needs wherever possible, including hospital and jail visitation, weddings, funerals and baptisms. She strongly believes your source of income should not be a barrier in these areas.

Her work has garnered her both local recognition and in 2025 she was awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal.
